The EMD Illuminations course focuses on altered levels of consciousness, investigating key causes through the AEIOU TIPS mnemonic. Participants will learn to identify various causes of altered consciousness, such as medical conditions, trauma, and drug effects.
Attendees will also recognize signs related to awareness, responsiveness, and cognitive function, spanning from confusion to total unresponsiveness.
