This General Illuminations --Public Safety Technology-- course presents and explains emerging public safety technologies*, including Internet of Things, thermal imaging, drones and unmanned devices, gunfire detection, facial recognition, telemedicine, remote triage systems, wearable patient monitors, closed circuit television, FirstNet, Next Generation 911, and Artificial Intelligence-powered dispatch.
